A highly sought after Monte Carlo Yellow SE (Special Edition) 1 about 300 made in 1991. This has been a Black Hills favorite for Tom and Patti for many years, during his coaching career. A friend of Tom’s (Jenn Rollins) flew from Fort Dodge to Pennsylvania and drove this car back to Iowa. She had trouble with it leaking antifreeze on the way home. She had enough mechanical sense to know to loosen the radiator cap, so she could relieve pressure on the system. She was then able to continue driving it until she got to a gas station, where she bought a pocket knife and a screwdriver. She found the leak on the hose (near the hose clamp) and cut the end off and repaired it herself! Tom was very impressed with her ability to’self repair’ at night on the road as a single woman! Proving once again ladies are capable of anything.
