#104 of 258, a two-stroke powered early production Sonett. This car was owned by Bud & Martha Babcock of Willoughby, Ohio. It was purchased along with our 00033 mile 1974 Sonett III ‘Mellow Yellow.’ Currently, this car is fitted with a 940cc ‘big bore’ engine that attained speed of over 112 MPH (180kph) at the Bonneville Salt Flats in 2011. It is sometimes used at the museum to give ‘test rides’ to show the performance of a two-stroke powered Sonett.
