The brain-child of Walter Kern, an IBM employee, who used an early computer to design it. Approximately 60 examples of this car were hand made. You could find a rusty Saab along the side the road, purchase this kit and make this car. These were made to race as Formula S cars. Walter had hoped Saab would use his design for a new model but instead the company chose to remake the Sonett 1 from 1956.
