Known as “Patti’s car,” maybe someone in the Pacific Northwest could see the future as a joint Saab-Subaru venture did eventually come to be in 2005. This car has been retrofitted with a mid ‘70’s Subaru power-plant and an automatic transmission. There was a group of people who enjoyed the safety and aerodynamics of the Saab 96 but did not care for the two-stroke engine and unfortunately this rare GT model became a conversion for that cause.

This car came from deep in hill sides of Arkansas and Patti said while picking it up if she sees a banjo…She’s going to start running!!

Originally Tom was going to put the two-stroke back in it but his friend Marty Adams convinced him otherwise.
