Seagrave is the oldest fire truck manufacture in America. They started by making hand drawn and then horse drawn fire apparatus. This 1957 model was originally sold and delivered to Manti, California Fire Department. Sometime in the early 1970s the original in line 12 cylinder was upgraded to a modern Detroit Diesel V53 ‘screamer’ Tom purchased this vehicle and upgraded the power plant using a 2004 Chevy Duramax Diesel as a donor vehicle. It was fitted with the Allison automatic and features a Chevrolet dash cluster.
